I’m 59 years old, with over 25 years of hands-on experience navigating work, family, and money — 15 years in the U.S. as a mid-level manager in the Midwest, and 10 years in the U.K. balancing career growth with the high cost of living. I’ve raised two kids (both now in college), managed a household, and made every financial decision count. Not flashy. Not fancy. Just steady, practical living.
